Unless a self install option is available installation costs include a one-time Installation Fee. For the equipment fees, customers have the option to pay modem rental fee, or the option to pay a one-time fee for purchase of the modem equipment.

A contract with EarthLink typically has a minimum time-frame of 1 year. If the customer decides to terminate their contract prior to this, they must pay an early termination fee of up to $200. All of EarthLink's internet plans come with no data caps or data limit at no additional cost. EarthLink does not offer introductory teaser rates, but instead offers a flat rate pricing strategy through the full term of the agreement.

Keeping all of the above in mind, EarthLink is considered one of the most affordable providers. With a wide variety of plans and download speeds at different price points, there's pricing and download speeds to fit various budgets. Again, always remember to read and search through contract agreement details and information regarding the data services provided in your plan for anything you may not have noticed at first glance. If any clarification is required or issues with your service arise, be sure to get a response from Earthlink Customer Service in writing.

Through partnerships with tier-one telecom companies, EarthLink has been actively growing their network to increase their coverage area & download speeds, while offering value-added service at a predictable and affordable price.
