ETC provides Internet service to customers in the listed metro areas and counties, but chances are other Internet providers also offer Internet plans in that area. ETC offers dsl internet plans in 2 different speed tiers ranging from less than 10 Mbps to 80 Mbps, a cable internet plan with a download speed of 300 Mbps and a fiber internet plan with a download speed of 1.0 Gbps.

DSL performance is dependent on the physical distance between your location and the Internet provider's equipment. If you on the edge of the the serviceable area, only lower tier plans may be available.

Cable Internet performance and the speeds available largely depend on whether the neighbourhood or city-level infrastructure has been upgraded to fiber and whether the provider is using the latest cable modem technology. For areas still using older copper line, speeds may be limited.

Since Fiber-optic internet services require a fiber line to by run directly to the service location, they are generally only available in major centers where equipment and infrastructure upgrades are more practical.
